About Us

Tend was founded in 2021 to address the challenges associated with the breakdown of the boundary between work and life and to respond more broadly to the growing need for wellness and positive mental health habits. Our focus is on programs and practices that help people align their values, increase focus and productivity, and improve their happiness in work, life, and beyond. Based on proven and highly curated knowledge and materials, our approach is to create simple, accessible solutions for busy people to support the development of a clear expression of a considered life.

Our founding team has a combined 200 years of meditation practice, providing Tend with a clear-eyed perspective on creating dramatic and lasting change from within. Our content comes from world-class Mindfulness teachers with decades of experience and a diversity of professional focus areas, backgrounds, and life histories.

What is learned and practiced with Tend can be applied to all aspects of everyday life.

Meet Paul.

Paul Gyodo Agostinelli has been practicing meditation for over thirty-five years and teaching for over twenty. His heart-centered focus in this space has allowed him to carve a nourishing path toward presence and balance around work, family, and personal responsibilities. He’s also been an entrepreneurial leader for decades and has worked with scores of professionals to help them become more centered in their work.

Paul loves showing people how simply turning inward can radically change their relationship with the external world. At the center of this philosophy is his relationship with his family: his wife, Aria, and five kids, ages 12 to 28.

When you are fully present, you feel it in your energy and confidence, and others feel it too.

“Paul’s depth and breadth across mindfulness and business allows him to meet you wherever you are. I began working with him to ensure the next part of my career was sacred and purposeful. That came together quicker than I imagined possible. So our meetings transitioned into Paul holding me accountable, reminding me to be kind to myself and helping me craft a methodology (which included a meditation practice) that helped keep me focused on the present and away from the worry, anxiety and stress that shows up without directed intention. It remains a practice, but now I know what to practice.”

“Working with Paul has been transformational for me. His wisdom has led to meaningful and material changes in both my personal and professional life. Paul has an amazing facility to patiently listen and respond with caring and thoughtful facilitation and guidance. Our work from a perspective of Whole Self and not only being more productive at work but identifying work that is more meaningful and fulfilling has been particularly fruitful. My work with Paul has changed my life in a lovely and profound way.”
