SESSION DETAILS

Over-emphasizing the quantitative dimension of Time gets us into trouble while attending to the qualitative dimension (e.g. in mindfulness) opens things up. An illusory sense of efficiency is created when we strive to “do as much as possible” in a certain amount of Time. True efficiency comes from being so fully present with the task at hand that the path ahead — or just the next step — appears naturally.

Topics We’ll Cover

  • Become truly efficient by learning to address real — not illusionary — issues in your work.
  • Create more Time so the clock serves you.
  • Enlarge your sense of Time by slowing down AND doing more.
  • Unhook from your controlling tendencies and allow reality to happen.
  • Avoid “the rush.”

Concepts We’ll Explore

  • The second Gate of Mindfulness: Following
  • The second Attitude of Presence: Nonreactivity
  • The second Boundless Mind: Unlimited Compassion
